Handwriting Without Tears fun

The Handwriting Without Tears letter formation chart is so helpful for reviewing how to correctly form letters.  Many of my elementary school teachers love this program.  I've been trying to figure out a way to work on several fine motor and academic skills while doing handwriting remediation with some students.  Here is a way to isolate each letter so the student can concentrate on just one, without having to mask all the other letters on the page.  It also reinforces the ABC sequence of letters since the index cards already have the letters marked on the tabs.
Along with practicing letters students might put the cards back in the correct ABC order, or draw pictures of words which start with the letter they're writing, then file the drawing behind the correct letter.

Update 7-1-2012--folks have asked where to find the text I taped onto the ABC divider cards.  Apologies to Jan Olsen--I cut apart one the "Letter Talk" pages from a HWTears book and taped the cut sections onto each card.
