This school year I'm back at many of my former schools, which are quite a distance away from home. That means--audiobooks are underway!
Years ago I read the entire Hunger Games trilogy via audiobook and they were fantastic. Let's see what's wonderful this year. So far the best is the first Harry Potter; what an amazing narrator!
Any recommendations???
Welcome to a spot to share ideas for working with students in exceptional education in public schools. Please describe activities you've successfully used with students to improve fine motor and self-help skills. Creative classroom adaptations for sensory-based and ergonomic needs are sought. Technology applications, low and high tech, are appreciated. Above all--be positive and professional in sharing your experiences and ideas. Thanks.
Consider getting a subscription to audible. Then you can download to your phone easily. I always fall asleep to audio books though so I don't have recommendations based on narrator quality.
ReplyDeleteCheryl, thx for the suggestion. I have several friends who have subscriptions to Audible.com and listen all the time.
ReplyDeleteHowever.....subscriptions mean that I would have to shell out my hard-earned money. Let's see--a subscription or use my money for chocolate??? You're dealing with the ultimate miser and candy lover here; even my poor phone is a hand-me-down from a good buddy and I don't have texting. There goes my rep for being a technology aficionado. Thx again for writing.
